House League for New Players (K - 6th)
The Arlington Heights Youth Athletic Association (AHYAA) will offer 4 lacrosse programs this spring.
The Arlington Attack Boys Youth Program (grades 1-8) welcomes players of all levels to learn the game of lacrosse and will compete with nearby towns through the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA). The program provides structured training and development for beginners though experienced players. Our programs have a great training plan to handle kids new to Lacrosse.
The Arlington Attack High School Program (grades 9-12) formerly the Arlington Falcons, are now a part of the AHYAA and provide the opportunity for players in Arlington Heights and the surrounding suburbs to play lacrosse in high school. The Attack Falcons will compete against other area high school clubs in the Northern Illinois Independent Lacrosse Association (NIILA).
The Arlington Attack Girls Youth Program (grades 1-8) this year we are going to offer a girl’s teams to play in the IGLL (Illinois Girls Lacrosse League). Teams will be grouped by age. Our program will emphasize skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship. We are also looking for volunteers to help coach and manage the teams. All volunteers are welcome (no lacrosse experience is necessary). The Girl Lacrosse league will be using a grade-based system.
The Arlington Attack House Program (grades K-6) for players who have never played lacrosse. (No Equipment Needed)
This league for (boys and girls) will be instructional and scrimmage only. This is designed to provide basic and fundamental lacrosse skills for young players to give them a jump start in the sport. We will meet one day each week for practice and will have 6 scrimmages on Saturday mornings. Players will go through catching and throwing instruction and mini drills and games. Practice will move at a quick pace to keep the players entertained and having fun!
