The Arlington Attack is very excited to introduce Alex Cramer who will be our High School Lacrosse coach and Director of Youth Player Development for the 2019 season. Alex works for True Lacrosse as a Director of Lacrosse for True Northwest.
Bio: Alex is a native of Rocky Hill, Connecticut and a recent graduate of Whittier College, where he majored in English with a focus on creative writing. Growing up a hockey player, Alex picked up lacrosse at 16 and self-taught himself into becoming one of the top 2014 goalies in the state. He was then a four-year starter for the Poets, playing in every game and eventually helping earn Whittier a spot in the NCAA Tournament. He has been a goalie coach for his hometown high-school and several youth programs, as well as offering private lessons to goalies across Connecticut in the form of Cramer’s Crease.
The Arlington Heights Youth Athletic Association (AHYAA) will offer 2 lacrosse programs this spring. The Arlington Attack Youth program (grades 1-8) welcomes players of all levels to learn the game of lacrosse and will compete with nearby towns through the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA). The program provides structured training and development for beginners though experienced players. Our programs have a great training plan to handle kids new to Lacrosse.
The Arlington Attack Falcons (grades 9-12) formerly the Arlington Falcons, are now a part of the AHYAA and provide the opportunity for players in Arlington Heights and the surrounding suburbs to play lacrosse in high school. The Attack Falcons will compete against other area high school clubs in the Northern Illinois Independent Lacrosse Association (NIILA).
