President’s Day Tournament

Description – Come join the True IL Staff on this President’s Day for an extra event to wrap up the 2026 Winter Season. This event is a great opportunity for players of all skill levels in True Lacrosse to come together and play. Each team does have a limit on how many players can register and first come first serve , so please don’t wait, or you will miss out. When – Monday, February 16th , 2025

Where – Youth- Lifezone 360, West Dundee, IL

High School- Max McCook, McCook, IL

Format – 3 Game Guarantee

Youth (U10, U12 & U14) – 8v8 (2A, 3M, 2D, 1G)

High School- 10v10

Cost – $100

This is a great opportunity for players to knock the rust off prior to taking the field in the spring. We can also work with players on group rates if they would like to play together on the same team .

The Illinois Lacrosse League is running a series of Youth Girls coaching clinics to help new and current coaches sharpen their coaching IQ and skills in preparation for the spring lacrosse season.

Who : Any parent interested in coaching girls’ lacrosse

Cost : Free!

Location : Falcon Indoor Fields – 3090 N Lake Terrace, Glenview, IL

Dates: Saturdays

January 24 – Offensive Focus
February 7 – Defensive Focus
February 28 – Game Play Focus

Time: 10:30-11:00 AM – Coach the coaches session

Breakdown:
– 30 minute coach the coaches session (10:30-11:00 am)
– 30+ minute practice observation – practices run from 9:00 am-2:00 pm, running youngest to oldest!

* Registered Coaches are welcome to stay for as long as they would like to observe winter Team ONE practices, learning from our coaches, watching practice/listening to coaching. There is no cost to registration.

Ready to try lacrosse? Our Learn 2 Lax clinic is designed for beginners who want to build confidence, learn the game, and have fun! Each session introduces players to the core skills they’ll need to get started, with lots of games and fun!

What players will learn:

Throwing & Catching: Develop proper stick handling and passing basics.
Ground Balls: Learn how to scoop the ball quickly and effectively.
Dodging & Cradling: Build comfort carrying the ball while moving.
Game Play & Teamwork: Practice fun drills that introduce game situations.

Learn 2 Lax Details:

When: Mondays

Session One (January): 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26
Session Two (February): 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23

Cost:

$50 per session
Or sign up for both sessions for $85
